this space is for an intersection between art science and nature with always a hope for humanity -if we just figure out how to care for each other and care for our environment

mixed culture
natures way is never a monoculture
-no thing lives in isolation from another
exclusion of one inevitably leads to
exclusion of a multitude of others
microorganisms from a hot spring @ ~95 degrees Celsius

a trail begotten
the trail
begotten via a rail
beauty on each side of left and right
speed cyclists take flight
and walkers walk
and runners run
then the rare inline skater
i fear they may never see
the million treasures along the way
i stop on the trial to simply look –and
someone always asks –are you ok?
see there it is in my hand! or maybe it is
a flower -or rock
–oh, ok glad you are all right…
–oh, ok glad you are all right…
i feel lost in these encounters where
nature intersects humanity....
people forget we all are related and all is begotten -not made.
people forget we all are related and all is begotten -not made.

warm fuzzy
cat of seeming affection
yet with air of indifference
i reach to touch you
but you remain at an arms length
as you follow me round
and mew for attention

run bike swim
when I run I am ‘grounded’ [[[...]]]
when I bike I am ‘free’ >>>...<<<
when I swim I am ‘surrounded’ (((...)))
all in one is a singularity:
as others sometimes join...

blue-green beasts
fluorescent microscopy of assorted cyanobacteria
algae, and bacteria from aquatic environs
There once was a bacterium colored blue and green
Tiny beasts in lakes and ponds in multitude are seen
Food delivered from the sun, eating photons one by one
Exponential growth cross planet thriving by the ton
The first tiniest plant on Earth
From which Sequoia trees got their birth

inside looking out
-a good place to perch
"wanna come over my house for lunch?"

there is a place -where people meet, who understand why we must come together

make due with what you have
it seems a lonely house-wish you were with me,

balance of sand in color
care for each other and the earth
